Founded in 1950 by a passionate group of volunteers who quite literally built the theatre from the ground up – on the site of a disused wartime water tank – Hall Green Little Theatre is one of Birmingham’s oldest and most cherished amateur theatres.
Run entirely by volunteers and proudly part of the Little Theatre Guild, HGLT stages ten productions a season, across both its main stage and intimate studio space. With a licensed bar, wardrobe and props departments, rehearsal rooms and more, it remains a vital, creative hub, welcoming all with an interest in theatre—on stage or off.
