Joseph Millson
Our Patron
I am so honoured and delighted to become the patron of The Little Theatre Guild. For 80 years the LTG has championed and supported both tradition and growth across the country. Amateur theatre is and always will be a beloved and important cornerstone of any community. In a world as fractured as ours is lately, coming together to adventure into drama, comedy and music is vital.
I look forward to seeing and meeting many of you in the time to come. Meanwhile I hope you all have fun!

Ambassadors

Jessica Swale
Film-maker | Writer | Director
It’s been the greatest privilege to hold the post of Patron of the Little Theatre Guild for the last few years. The LTG is at the forefront of promoting, building and supporting our thriving theatre community in the UK, ensuring that people all over the country have access to the arts both as makers and audience members. To witness the fizzing passion and enthusiasm of the membership has been so inspiring, and leaves me with no doubt that the future of our local arts is not only secure but blooming.
Our Small theatres, amateur and community theatres really are the bedrock of our creative landscape. They are an essential training ground for aspirational artists, but perhaps more importantly they foster opportunity theatre to become a creative hobby, a catalyst for friendship, a cultivator of community and a provider of hope. I have seen such dynamic work, such exciting creative ingenuity and sparkling performance in my time as chair, and I am delighted that, whilst I am handing the baton over as Patron now, I have the privilege of staying part of the LTG family as their first Ambassador. In this capacity I will continue to support and promote the LTG’s brilliant work. I look forward to staying part of this community long into the future.
