Conference History
The Little Theatre Guild (LTG) brings its members together through a dynamic calendar of National and Regional Conferences, as well as specialised relationship-building meetings, fostering a tight-knit community of amateur theatre enthusiasts. Each spring, our National Conference unites representatives from our 127 member theatres for a weekend of networking, workshops, and discussions on shared challenges and opportunities. In autumn, three Regional Conferences offer a more local focus, allowing members to connect with nearby theatres, share ideas, and collaborate on regional initiatives.
Beyond these conferences, LTG hosts targeted relationship meetings addressing critical topics like Health & Safety, VAT, and Child Protection, featuring expert speakers to guide members through the complexities of theatre management. These gatherings – whether at iconic venues like Shakespeare’s Globe or member theatres nationwide – strengthen bonds, spark inspiration, and provide practical solutions. It’s a chance to learn, grow, and thrive together in the ever-evolving world of amateur and community theatre.
