The LTG will celebrate its 80th anniversary 15-17 May 2026 at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham. Put the date in your diary now and help LTG celebrate this great anniversary. The National Committee propose the following programme and they are working in conjunction with our wonderful hosts the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham.
We really hope that the programme detailed below will encourage you to attend this Anniversary Conference.

18:30 – Register at The Old Rep, next to New Street Station. Tours of The Old Rep and at the Crescent on Saturday morning.
20:00 – Social Supper at The Old Rep followed by entertainment from Crescent Youth Theatre who will perform excerpts from Come From Away. The bar will be open.
08:00 – Breakfast rolls available at the Crescent; registration re-opens and tours at 08:15, 08:30 and 08:45
09:45 – Welcome by LTG & Crescent Chairs
10:00 – 11:00 – Workshop 1 – select one from list below:
10:30 – Youth Theatre Festival opens in the main house
11:00 – Coffee Break
11:30 – 12:30 – Workshop 2 – select one from list above
12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch.
13:00 – Youth Theatre Festival continues in the main house until 17:00
13:30 – 14:30 – Presentation on NODA from Chief Operating Officer Dale Freeman and Immediate Past President Graham Liverton
14:30 – Coffee Break
15:00 – 16:00 – Keynote presentation from Joshua McTaggart, CEO of the Theatres Trust.
16:00 – 18:00 – Down time to relax and change
18:00 – Little Wars in the Ron Barber Studio
20:15 – 23:00 – Gala Dinner on stage of the main house
09:00 – Breakfast rolls will be available in the Crescent Theatre.
09:45 – LTG AGM & Open Forum in the Main House – see documents in the Documentation Tab below.
11:30 – ‘In Conversation with an Actor’. Sadly, LTG Patron Jessica Swale is no longer available to host this interview. LTG can confirm that former LTG Chairman Jo Matthews will interview a theatre luminary.
12:30 – Conference closing words from LTG Chair Nick Morley & Crescent Chair Kevin Middleton.
