Founded in 1947 and now proudly nestled in the Bingley Arts Centre, BLT has become a cornerstone of local culture. We’re a registered charity run entirely by volunteers, and each season we stage nine full productions – from laugh-out-loud comedies to moving dramas and toe-tapping musicals – across our 350-seat main house and the more intimate 100-seat Theatre Upstairs.
But BLT is much more than just a stage. It’s a thriving hub of activity, home to our award-winning Kaleidoscope Youth Theatre, our dynamic Studio group and our buzzing social events calendar. Whether you’re a seasoned theatregoer, an aspiring actor, or someone looking for a friendly community to be part of, there’s a place for you here.
Our vision is simple: to inspire, entertain and connect. We aim to create theatre that reflects the diversity of life and offers something for everyone – from thought-provoking new writing to festive family fun.
