Once an impressive waterside warehouse standing on the banks of the Kennet and Avon Canal, the Wharf became a 96 seat theatre in 1979. The Devizes and District Amateur Dramatic Society, formed in 1947, made it their home and The Wharf Theatre, as we know it today, was born. It remains the only dedicated theatre in East Wiltshire.
Today we are proud to offer high quality theatre and diverse entertainment with in-house produced musicals, plays, pantomimes, youth shows and live music along with guest theatre companies and speakers. The Wharf is run by a community of volunteers and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our shows very soon.
