Wokingham Theatre

Wokingham Theatre (WT) is a thriving community theatre, presenting eight major productions a year, alongside Youth Theatre productions, short runs of experimental productions, evenings of new writing, and a wide range of theatrical skills training and workshops, all in our 160+ seat home at Cantley Park in Wokingham.

Founded in 1947, WT is a registered charity and our purpose has always been to promote the enjoyment of theatre in and around Wokingham. The theatre is staffed and managed entirely by volunteers who give their time and skills to support all aspects of our operation, and our membership is made up from a wide array of experiences and backgrounds. We have a wide-reaching diversity and inclusion policy, and we’re always keen to hear from any potential new members thinking about joining us.
