Nantwich Players Theatre

We have been an Little Theatre Guild Member since 2014. Established in 1927 as Nantwich Play Reading Circle, later to become Nantwich Players, and in our current venue since 1983. Our building was first a Quaker meeting house and later local council storage. In danger of being demolished in the early 1980’s, it was purchased by the Players and converted into a Theatre.

In 2009, the adjoining premises were acquired, which significantly increased the backstage area giving us three dressing rooms, rehearsal space, costume & props storage, a kitchen, the ability to install air-conditioning and increase the number of productions.
