The Little Theatre Guild (LTG) is excited to invite youth theatres from across the UK to take part in a major celebration of youth theatre in 2026. Our proposed Youth Theatre Festival (YTF) will showcase the incredible work being done with young people in theatres large and small, culminating at the LTG’s Annual Conference and 80th Anniversary in Birmingham, 15–17 May 2026 with Youth featured on Saturday 16 May.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with other youth theatres, perform regionally in Spring 2026, and potentially present your work at the prestigious Crescent Theatre during the national conference. Whether you’ve worked with LTG before or not, we want to hear from you. Travel expenses will be covered by LTG, and participation will not be competitive – we aim to celebrate the diversity and quality of youth theatre, not rank it.
The project is shaped around you – your young performers, your theatre’s capabilities, and your creative vision. We’re currently gathering expressions of interest to explore how many youth theatres would like to take part.
If your theatre works with young people, this is a chance to be part of something inspiring. Get in touch and help shape this exciting national event.
