Theatre Green Book: Buildings Webinar Series

2nd April 2026

Posted by Anne Gilmour

Theatre Green Book ABTT

Free 2026 webinar series on making theatre buildings more sustainable.

Join us throughout 2026 for a webinar series focusing on various aspects of sustainable buildings for theatre and the performing arts. We will hear from experts on a range of topics, and case studies from venues who have made changes or upgrades to their buildings.

It’s the area that often can have the most significant, long-term impact in reducing our environmental impact. But the challenges of building, adapting or replacing built infrastructure can also be the most daunting.

In the series, expert guest speakers will talk about their work and present case studies that highlight different aspects of sustainable buildings. Topics will include:

Vision and planning capital projects
Renewables
Heating and cooling
Biodiversity
Materials for building and interiors
Building structure case studies
Buildings standards
Theatre fit-out

Webinars are free to attend, and recordings will be available afterwards for anyone unable to attend the live event.

Dates and the registration link can be found on the Theatre Green Book website HERE. The first webinar will be on Friday, 17th April 2026 at 13:00 – 14:00
