Lorna Pyne from The Costume Project CIC is a newly incorporated community interest company based in Burton upon Trent.

They have a collection of over 3,000 theatrical costumes and are looking at how they can better support schools, youth theatres and amateur dramatic societies across the UK.

They are currently running a short consultation to understand the challenges theatre groups face when sourcing, making and hiring costumes, particularly the cost and practical difficulties of costuming complete productions.

The results will help shape their future services and provide evidence of need for an Arts Council funding application.  HERE is a link to the Survey and HERE is some more information about the project on their website. Lorna would like the survey completed by 20 November 2026.
