Working together to strengthen safeguarding practices across our theatres.

Following the success of the March Safeguarding – Community of Practice meeting, we are delighted to announce that the second meeting will be held on Tuesday 13 May at 19:00

Suzanne Swan from Rugby Theatre, who hosted the first meeting along with LTG Vice Chair Debbie Hibberd, have provided an agenda which builds on the discussions that took place during the first, and very well received, meeting.

This is a crucial area for LTG Members as many have youth groups and stage performances with actors under 18 years of age. Do direct this event to the most appropriate person in your theatre so that they can contribute to and learn from the discussion.

Review of actions from previous meetings
Policy, paperwork or pointless – an open discussion around the paperwork that we need, have and those we see as wallpaper and box ticking. Bring examples or points to discuss.
Case Study Discussion – Youth Projects – please bring information which outlines how your Youth Project works – success stories and what are your barriers?
