The Theatre Green Book is an initiative to try and support the theatre sector towards becoming more environmentally sustainable.
They seek more representation from smaller theatres and seek LTG Member theatres who have are are looking to make innovative changes to their building to make them more energy efficient or welcoming of biodiversity over the last few years. Attendance on the Committee is entirely voluntary and the aim is to share updates on sustainability progress with each members’ work ; ensure the Theatre Green Book guidance remains up-to-date; share news or guidance from across the theatre buildings sector; come up with ideas for webinars/toolkits/projects to help the whole theatre sector improve the environmental sustainability of its buildings, at all scales.
