Conference Highlights

2025 LTG National Conference – seeking help from LTG Members

On the Sunday morning of the conference, held at the Royalty Theatre, Sunderland delegates listened to a presentation from Professors Helen Nicholson, Anne-marie Greene and Kay Hepplewhite on their work about local theatre and communities.

The presentation is HERE and you can also find it on the Conference page of the website HERE.

On the first page of the presentation you can read that they are interested in stories of change and about mapping theatre in your area. Their contact details are on the first page of the slide and to help them with this important work, they ask that you complete their online survey.

Online survey – a link to the survey is  HERE and HERE is a PDF of the questions asked in the survey.

For the survey Helen, Anne-marie and Kay are:

“interested in stories of change -in particular, how you are including more local people in your theatres (as theatre-makers and audiences). This could be anything -from festivals to new buildings; from working with other local groups to new partnerships; to outdoor performance to changing the repertoire.. And so much more.
We also discussed mapping theatre in your area –where it happens, and who makes theatre, and exploring links and collaborations across the amateur, professional, youth, and community theatre sectors.
Please drop us an email to say you’re interested, and we’ll get back to you.”
