LTG is delighted to welcome a new Member to the Central Region. It is Dunstable Repertory Theatre, known as ‘The Rep’ who perform in The Little Theatre, formerly a library. They were formed in 1945 and performed in several different venues over the years but finally found a permanent home in an old library. They converted the building into a 99-seater theatre and staged their first performance in October 1968. In 2020 they celebrated their 75th anniversary.
You can read more about the group and their history on their website Dunstable Rep at the Little Theatre Home. They are also on Facebook HERE and Twitter HERE. They stage around 6 plays a year and will open, post-COVID with Dead Guilty on Friday 19 November. They end the season in style by staging Ben Hur from 1 July 2022.
