Claire Sharples spoke briefly about her work at Voluntary Arts during the LTG AGM on Saturday 15 May and noted how the #CreativeNetwork on Theatre – HERE – could benefit LTG Members.
As part of their regular online get-togethers, the next opportunity to benefit will be an hour long session on Wednesday 9 June at 14:00 on Performing Shakespeare during lockdown. You can Register for this event through eventbrite HERE.
This event will look at the different ways that groups have used and adapted Shakespeare during lock-down and it is delivered in partnership with the Little Theatre Guild.
Join the conversation with Avant Cymru, about how groups can adapt the canon to engage performers, production teams and audiences – co-creating inclusive and accessible productions that are both historical and forward-thinking. Avant Cymru prepare to stage their performance of Henry V live (and live-streamed) from the AFC Porth pitch.
These sessions are an opportunity for informal and open sharing. If you have particular questions or challenges – or things that you’d like to contribute – you will be most welcome to voice these.
If you have any questions prior to the event, please contact claire@vaengland.org.uk
