THE FUTURE OF THEATRE IN TOWNS, 20 JANUARY 2022, 5.30-7.00PM

Researchers, including Professor Helen Nicholson, from Civic Theatres: A Place for Towns would like to invite you to a free on-line event.

This event is part of a research project that is investigating the significance and importance of theatres in towns across England. Frequently overlooked, theatres in towns offer opportunities for local people to take part in theatre both as audiences and theatre-makers. This free online event, designed for and with people who have interests in theatre in their towns and local areas, asks what theatre will look like in towns in the future. We are delighted to welcome a wide range of distinguished speakers, please join the conversation.
