Many LTG Theatres will have staged Coarse Acting events and remember Mike Green with fondness and much hilarity.

Christine Green, wife of the late Michael Green, contacted the LTG to let us know that two years before he died, Mike recorded his book the comic classic “The Art of Coarse Acting” and even better, it has just come out on Audible.

Michael Green recorded this unabridged audio version of his 1964 book in 2016/17. It was archived unreleased and is only now available, in 2020. A fitting memorial to the “[M]aster humourist” as Quentin Letts called him in the Daily Mail, to have this glorious book brilliantly performed by the author himself.
