Crowdfunder.co.uk is continuing to work with Theatres Trust on our umbrella fundraising campaign, #SaveOurTheatres. The campaign helps to raise vital funds for theatres across the UK, as they struggle due to the continued closures. You can check out details of the national campaign here.

As you can see, the platform enables you to sell rewards (e.g. a backstage tour) out to your supporter base in return for donations. You can also encourage supporters to make their own fundraising pages and your theatre may even be eligible for additional match-funding!

Since launching in September, the campaign has raised £1.6 million for 80 theatres across the UK, both large and small.

Each participating theatre has its own dedicated crowdfunding page, but also benefits from being part of a wider campaign, giving it more exposure and access to shared marketing collateral. Crowdfunder also provides free coaching and fundraising advice to help you tap into your networks and work with your crowd to raise the money you need.

What’s more, Crowdfunder has waived our platform fees. The initial set-up has been designed to be as simple as possible, so it won’t take too much time. We have created a template project for you to follow and will provide a marketing support document too.
