I am very disappointed to announce that the LTG S Region Conference due to be hosted by the Tower Theatre, Stoke Newington, London has been cancelled.

Sadly, COVID means that many are reluctance to venture too far from their own theatre, or travel by public transport or have a night away from home and likely attendees were too small in number to make the conference viable.

LTG National Committee, however, wish to thank the Tower Theatre for being willing to host a conference at this time and are grateful for their offer to host in 2022.

The production that conference delegates would have seen is Three Birds by Janice Okoh is described as “A darkly comic drama about family, childhood and fantasy”. It is “set in a flat on a south London housing estate, where three siblings, Tiana, Tionne and Tanika are left at home alone. The play was the winner of the 2011 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.”
