Great news. The LTG S Region one-day conference and AGM will be held at the Wharf Theatre on 28 October. HERE is the agenda for the day and HERE is the menu to make your food choices if you are staying to eat on Saturday evening at The Crown pub – see below.

LTG S Region Secretary Ralf Togneri, has contacted all all LTG S Region Members and asked the LTG Reps to publicise the event to all the members of their theatre and encourage them to attend. It will be an opportunity to find out about the Wharf Theatre and how they operate; to network; and, as always at these events, to exchange knowledge and experiences. It is especially important for those LTG theatres which were unable to attend the LTG National Conference, to be represented.

The event is being organised by Wharf’s LTG Rep Ali Warren and volunteers at the theatre. The conference fee will be £23 (which includes lunch) and if you wish to stay to watch their production of of Happy Jack on Fri 27 Oct or Sat 28 Oct evening the fee will be £35.

This offers you the the option to arrive on Friday afternoon, see the show and stay the night and leave at tea-time on Saturday. But if you do wish to see the show on Saturday evening you will need to purchase (and order in advance) your evening supper, which will be in The Crown pub, a few minutes’ walk away. This is not included in the conference fee.

There is a Travelodge in Devizes and there are at least four hotels within easy walking of The Wharf and Ali will be happy to send you details if needed. The nearest railway station is Chippenham but it may be possible to arrange lifts from this station to the theatre.
