This January marks the 12th anniversary of the death of John McGrath, playwright, screenwriter, producer, director, and founder of the 7:84 Theatre Companies in both England and Scotland.

Heritage Lottery have just awarded the Theatre Royal £322k as the start of phase 2 in its re-furbisment. Work is due to start very soon with completion expected in May 2015.
