AACT (American Association of Community Theatre) NewPlayFest 2018 Call for Scripts

AACT seeks scripts of non-musical, full length, unpublished plays which have not received a full production, for their New Play Festival 2018. Plays must be submitted between 1 August and 1 September 2016. There will be a $10 script processing fee. Following a meeting between the President of AACT Murray Chase and Tom Williams, LTG National Liaison Officer, AACT have agreed that scripts from LTG Members are welcome. AACT seeks Reviewers for their New Play Festival 2018. Following a meeting between the President of AACT Murray Chase and Tom Williams, LTG National Liaison Officer, AACT welcomes Play Reviewers from members of LTG theatres. The deadline for AACT to receive your application is 15 September 2016 and you need to agree that you may read up to 20 scripts. Reviewers will first read scripts for the initial elimination round; then each scripts will be read and scored by three reviewers to determine the semi-finalists; and then theatre professionals will determine the finalists.
